Summer Beatle

Beatle smelling the air. I really enjoy it when Beatle trots toward me. He looks so majestic. He was excited about the chickens visiting our side of the street for the first time.

Cicada Teapot & Basil

To reassure that the plants didn't go without water and the dishes too, I made a 'zen'terpiece from two different basil plants tonight. Thai basil is dark purple. Sweet basil is larger and very green.

Testing the personal wok. Shrimp, broccoli, bean sprouts, shitake, garlic, ginger, sesame chili oil, soy sauce, hoisin sauce...

Farm Garden

We couldn't resist finding a way to shoot some fireworks (over the garden). Scarecrow watching over us picking a couple blackberries. Impressive garden.

The rest of the day

Had to take some pics of Beatle. He is always watching me. I went out in the kayak for many hours and fished and fished and fished. I went through the little creek up to the little dam where I saw a mama deer and her fawn. I took 13 pics and this one is the clearest. Cheers!
